Location

The Villas of Qeparo are located in the old village of Qeparo, perched on the mountain, 10 min drive from the seaside. It is reached by a small concrete road, winding, steep and narrow at some points.

The old village of Qeparo, partially abandoned after the fall of communism in 1991, has not yet been affected by modern development and has been protected from mass tourism.

This atmosphere surrounds the village.
About fifty residents and ten children live in the village actually.
Some inhabitants are starting to rehabilitate certain houses, including a few foreigners.
The village still remains isolated, but it is a beautiful, authentic experience.
This place is located in the south of Albania, overlooking the Ionian sea between Saranda and Himara.

It take around 3h30m to reach the village from Tirana International Airport.
Possibility to reach the village by Corfu and then take the boat to arrive in Saranda which is 1h drive to Upper Qeparo.

An ideal destionation in any season:

The summer being hot and dry, the wind can blow on the olive trees and the Mediterranean vegetation, bringing a welcome freshness.

Spring is very sunny and flowery, with a still fresh sea in April but very quickly welcoming from May.

Automn, which is still very mild, offers beautiful days with an ideally gentle sea.

The very short winter can bring heavy rains and windy days, homes during this period are often quite cold.
